Wild wild weather
Dramatic weather visited us at the weekend. I walked to the pier and crept as close as I dared, to snap the photo below.

MP was over there the other day and told me how large slabs of concrete along the retaining wall had shifted.
The power of the waves.
Yep, the place gets a bit dramatic sometimes. It's also amazing how quickly those waves can move sand around - we could shovel for days or backhoe for hours, but it can all be undone in minutes by a few strong waves.
